Lowe - Gertrude Bruner

Gertrude E. Lowe, 56, died Tuesday afternoon at her home three and one (sic) miles northeast of Wallace after suffering from carcinoma for six months. She had been seriously ill five weeks. She was born July 20, 1886, in Fountain County.  Her parents were Jasper and Sarah E. Keller Bruner.  She married Harry Lowe November 6, 1907 in the Lutheran parsonage near Wallace. She was a member of the Wallace Christian Church.  Survivors are the husband; one son Max of Indianapolis; one daughter, Mrs. Stanton Alward of Kingman; two brothers, Harry Bruner of Veedersburg and John Bruner of Crawfordsville; one sister, Mrs. Fred Michael, Crawfordsville Rt 7, and one granddaughter.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Lutheran Church at Wallace at 2 o'clock with Rev. John Servies in charge of the services.  Burial was made in the Lutheran cemetery.  --- transcribed by kbz
